Four Seasons Hotel, Hampshire

Scope of Works

Powells delivered a comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the ground floor at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Dogmersfield, a Grade I listed 18th-century manor set on 500 acres. The project was completed in two phases:

Phase One: Refurbishment of the drawing room, reception area, and ancillary rooms. Works included structural alterations, bespoke oak wall panelling, polished marble flooring, and a custom-built reception counter – all carried out under listed building consent and in accordance with English Heritage requirements.

Phase Two: Full fitout of the Wild Carrot Restaurant & Bar, in collaboration with renowned designer Martin Brudnizki. This included:
- Construction of a new steel-framed restaurant extension to accommodate 60 additional covers and a private dining room
- Installation of a large commercial kitchen, gas and refrigeration systems, and complete HVAC redesign
- New island lounge bar and adjoining library/lounge
- Creation of an external stone-paved garden and roof terrace above the extension for the Royal Suite

Powells have completed a major refurbishment of the Grade 1 Listed Manor House and an extension and refurb of the Main Restaurant, Bar and Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dogmersfield, Hampshire. The firm worked closely with the Project Managers and the Design Team to adhere to the necessary restrictions on a Grade 1 Listed Building and the end result is considered fully in keeping with the original buildings and to the highest standards.
