Hollister - Lakeside

Hollister - Lakeside

Scope of Works

Powells delivered the complete fit-out of Hollister's new Lakeside store, transforming a new retail unit into a fully operational environment that reflects the brand's latest international store concept.

Works commenced with the construction of a new shopfront featuring aluminium composite cladding, high-performance glazing and a feature timber entrance portal. Internally, the project included the installation of new floor finishes, architectural wall panelling, coordinated ceiling systems, integrated lighting and proprietary merchandising systems, alongside new fitting rooms, accessible facilities, stockrooms and staff accommodation.

A comprehensive mechanical, electrical and public health package formed a key part of the project, including HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, fire alarm and sprinkler installations. New service routes, containment, supports and fire protection measures were carefully coordinated alongside the architectural works to ensure seamless integration between building services, owner-supplied retail fixtures and the finished environment.

Extensive enabling works, including floor preparation, partitioning, structural support elements and builders' work, provided the foundation for the fit-out. Throughout the programme, Powells coordinated multiple trades, specialist suppliers, landlord requirements and owner-supplied installations to deliver a technically complex project to Hollister's exacting global standards.
