Following the successful launch at Westfield Stratford City, this second UK location continues Subdued’s rollout, translating the brand’s distinctive, understated aesthetic into one of the country’s premier retail destinations.

The finished store presents a calm, contemporary environment shaped by a refined palette of natural materials and soft finishes. A bespoke timber shopfront - crafted by Powells Joinery - forms a warm and tactile entrance, complete with a discreetly integrated roller shutter. Internally, herringbone-style timber flooring and open ceilings with exposed, sprayed services reinforce the brand’s relaxed, design-led identity.

Delivering within Bullring’s busy, high-footfall environment required careful planning and coordination. Working within a live retail setting, our team maintained programme and quality while navigating strict logistical constraints and ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding units. Maintaining consistency with the Stratford concept was also key (see previous news item Jan 23,2026), with particular attention given to the precision of finishes and detailing across all elements.

The project included a full strip-out and fit-out of the main sales floor, alongside the integration of a remote stockroom - seamlessly supporting store operations without compromising the clean retail environment.

Completed over a 10 week programme, the Bullring store marks another successful step in Subdued’s UK expansion.
