Tuesday 18th July was our 14th Annual Powells Golf Classic, held at Remedy Oak in Dorset, where 22 teams participated on a beautiful sunny day. A shotgun start, with four teams teeing off on the Par 5 holes, and one team on each of the other tees – all followed by a 3 course dinner. The raffle and auction, sponsored by our loyal suppliers and subcontractors, managed to raise over £20,000 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Cancer Research UK. The winners were Goodworth Clatford (near Andover) based business management company Nobl Ltd who won by 1 point from Birmingham Garage and Industrial Doors Ltd, and a well played third place went to Cheshire Ceilings. A massive thank you to all our sponsors and everyone who took part, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.
