The project involved extensive refurbishment across both spaces, including a reconfigured shopfront, new flooring, bespoke joinery, branded merchandising systems, fitting rooms and back-of-house facilities. Architectural finishes, lighting and building services were carefully coordinated to create a cohesive Hollister environment.

The defining challenge was delivering this substantial transformation whilst the store continued trading. Working predominantly out of hours, Powells implemented a carefully phased programme, using temporary hoardings to separate construction activities from customer areas whilst maintaining access to trading floors and fitting-room facilities.

Each phase demanded meticulous planning and coordination, with refurbished areas progressively cleaned and handed back to the retailer as works advanced. Particular attention was given to logistics, customer safety and operational continuity, ensuring the store was ready for trading each day.

The completed remodel demonstrates Powells' expertise in delivering complex retail refurbishments within live trading environments, combining quality craftsmanship, technical coordination and minimal disruption to day-to-day retail operations.
