With this prestigious project for Cartier, spanning five floors across New Bond Street and Albemarle Street in the heart of London’s Mayfair, we were tasked with the full refit their magnificent new ‘Temple’. Described in Vogue Magazine as a ‘church of craftsmanship’, this build required the utmost attention to detail, installing a stunning array of bespoke fittings and fixtures to create an extraordinary high-quality finish.
Major structural and re-roofing work had to be undertaken to get the project prepared for the stunning internal fit out of this Grade II listed building. A luxurious array of bespoke fixtures and marble clad Italian cabinetry were installed to create an very high-quality spec. Further work included the restoration of ornate fibrous cornices and plaques, the installation of octagonal patterned parquet flooring and fan segmented stone flooring punctuated with patinated brass bars. Original fireplaces, intricate hardwood, wall panelling and a lift system all had to be carefully restored, whilst new chandeliers and Turkish carpets had to be fitted. The shopfront’s original wrought iron stallriser was also restored to its former splendour with the elaborate detailing sympathetically gilded.
This 36 week fit out completed in early December 2018, showcased our ability to work with this iconic luxury brand delivering the highest quality of finishes.
